Colin is a shareholder of the firm and an attorney with more than a decade of experience guiding clients through estate planning and administration. His practice focuses primarily on these areas, while also advising individuals and families on related issues including elder law, long-term care planning, special needs planning, closely held and family-owned businesses, real estate matters, oil and gas interests, and state and federal tax considerations.
Colin believes that trust is built on a foundation of compassion, patience, and genuine understanding. Clients consistently appreciate that he “listens first,” taking the time to understand their goals, values, and concerns before offering guidance. His approach combines technical precision with a warm, approachable style that helps clients feel both confident and at ease.
Colin was admitted to practice law in 2015. He earned his J.D., with honors, from Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as an editor on the Duquesne Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
Colin lives north of Pittsburgh with his wife, daughter, and their dog, Bobbi. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking for his family, watching movies, and continuing his lifelong passion for playing guitar and exploring music. He believes that a person’s legacy is defined not only by their assets or professional achievements, but equally by the unique and meaningful ways they express themselves and connect with others.
